MISSION:

Rahway Food For Friends exists to:

•  feed the hungry
•  clothe the needy
•  help the hurting
•  and nurture people to self-sufficiency.

VISION Statement: 

     Rahway Food For Friends seeks to unite faith communities by:

1. Feeding hungry people through monthly and emergency food distribution and the operation of a weekly soup kitchen.
2. Clothing needy people through the distribution of donated clothes.
3. Helping hurting people through referrals and spiritual counseling.
4. Nurturing people to self-sufficiency through providing resources that promote financial independence and enhance self-esteem. 
   These resources include:
                a) Job opportunities
                b) Educational opportunities and resources
                c) Child care
